No More Sinus Headaches with Balloon Sinuplasty Dr. Setzen is a superior ENT specialist whom I can't praise enough. I had been suffering from chronic sinus inflammation, headaches, and TMJ. With his advanced CT scan equipment, Dr. Setzen was able to make the correct diagnosis and perform a balloon sinuplasty that cured me of my headaches. After spraying the nostrils with a liquid anesthetic and then applying more with needles (which I didn't feel at all); I was amazed to find that I did not feel very much during the relatively short procedure. All I felt was a little pressure at times. Dr.Setzen was very good in alleviating any of my fears by explaining every step before it was executed.

The Best Thing I Did!!!!!! This review is long overdue! Dr. Setzen performed nasal/septal surgery on me over 25 years ago and it was the best thing I ever did! It improved my quality of life tremendously! I no longer wake up with headaches and sore throats. (And I no longer snore like I use to.) Now when I wake up I'm not exhausted. Before my surgery I felt like I was always getting sick. It also took along time for me to get better. All of my family lives out of state so I fly frequently. Pre-surgery I realized every time I flew I would get sick. (Not to mention the terrible sinus/head pressure I sometimes experienced while flying.) My family even commented that it seemed like I was always sick when I was visiting. By the time I was ready to go home I was feeling better but then the flight home relapsed me. Nasal Congestion and Nasal Deformity Improved with Surgery Dr. Setzen is an awesome doctor! Almost a year ago, I contemplated getting nose surgery. I had trouble breathing and my nose was crooked to the right slightly. I had the surgery and it was the best decision i have ever done. The first few nights are rough due to sleeping, but after everything drains out, you are good to go by day 5-6. I was referred to Dr. Setzen by my family friend who had the surgery many years ago and he loved him. If you are considering the surgery, there is no better Doctor out there!

I Can Breathe I had nasal congestion and sinusitis and went to Dr. Setzen for a consult. After a cat scan showed complete blockage on one side and many polyps, I agreed to have nasal surgery. After removing over 50 polyps, the very next day I was able to breathe through both sides of my nose. I had almost no discomfort or pain. Crooked/Deformed Nose Doctor Setzen did my nose surgery when I was 16. Ever doctor i went to turned me down because they said it was too difficult a surgery. I Can Breathe and No Longer Have Sinus Headaches Dr. Setzen surgically corrected my deviated septum and removed some rather large polyp's from my sinuses. Prior to the surgery I was experiencing sinus headaches with many repeated infections. Now I can breathe great with no sinus headaches since the surgery. Dr. Setzen is a patient, kind, highly skilled physician who always took the time to explain the procedure and answer all my questions. Follow-up care was great and the best recommendation I can give is that I allowed him to do the successful surgery on my son, daughter and in another couple of years my granddaughter.

Nasal Polyps 10 Years After Surgery Dr. Setzen operated on me for nasal polyps. It has been 10 years without a recurrence due to the skill of Dr. Setzen. He is a thorough, highly proficient surgeon who has monitored me quarterly since my surgery to prevent any recurrence.

Great Result Dr. Setzen corrected my deviated septum. Prior to surgery he discussed the possible outcomes, possible difficulties etc. The outcomes achieved were the best possible. My breathing is better, and the correction has helped the effectiveness of the CPAP machine I am using for my sleep apnea. Moreover, both Dr. Setzen and his staff were most helpful, responsive and supportive throughout the process and follow up.

Sinus Surgery I have been constantly sick with head and chest colds for the last 20 years. My treatment always focused on my lungs and potential allergies. Dr. Setzen did a CAT scan of my sinuses and diagnosed a double deviated septum and clogged sinuses. We scheduled surgery but I was concerned that I have Factor XI blood deficiency which is a clotting issue. In conjunction with a hematologist Dr. Setzen performed the surgery without the need for a prophylactic transfusion (which I was trying to avoid). There was no bleeding issues during or after surgery and I am thrilled with the results. Definitely recommend Dr. Setzen.
